For bodhran players who have a bit of experience, Martin will help you improve your sticking and tonal techniques. You’ll work on understanding and playing more complex rhythms and accompanying both traditional and modern folk tunes; learning to play by ear and from simple scored drum nomenclature. Working on improving timing by playing along with both metronome beats and tunes, you’ll cover rhythms including more advanced reels and jigs, and complex time signatures.
