Bernadette is a violin player, composer and tutor based in Glasgow.
She graduated with a first class Honours degree in Traditional Music from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2018
In her work as a composer and performer Bernadette takes on board various influences such as jazz, minimalism and more ‘classical’ concepts in order to develop her distinct style. In her teaching, she focusses on gaining control over technical aspects such as bowing and intonation, as well as developing a sense for musical narrative and performance.
Bernadette is currently studying a PhD in Performance Psychology at the University of Edinburgh.
