Originally from Liverpool Emma moved to Scotland to pursue a career in Traditional music alongside her Classical playing. She plays Viola/Fiddle and Piano and is an award winning instrumental teacher (BBC Scotland Trad. Tutor of the Year 2017) teaching from beginners to advanced players of all ages. Emma also composes music for a variety of projects she is involved in and is currently pursuing a PhD study, focusing on the viola in Scottish Traditional music at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
